YouTube may seem like nothing more than a go-to for funny cats and wannabe singers who help pass the time. But there is a new way to start thinking about YouTube: a news source.
TechCrunch recently posted an article explaining how YouTube has become a form of ‘visual journalism.’ Instead of searching ‘Nyan Cat’, YouTubers have been busily searching news related items, many of them contributed by citizens.
